first surf:
Hey Paul,
took the new fish out to Inch for a spin today. Lots of float, very easy to paddle out, very stable so quite forgiving on pop-up, turns really easily.
Given the poor enough conditions (low period, strong offshores, very choppy) it went really well first time out

second surf:
Went out again yest & today. Beginning to get the hang of the speed.
You're right - it's a flying machine

Just wanted to drop you a quick mail to say thanks again. Really happy with the board. Had a nice little surf in Brandon Bay before the wind picked up on Sunday morn, only a couple of feet, but even managed to get my toes to the nose once or twice :) and it turns really well too.

Ciaran ordered two boards from me a few weeks ago finally got on to glass them.

Longboard
ciaran was after a 10ft wingnut style piggy board 22" wide only stipulation on colour was gotta have some red in it.
red bottom tint, yellow tinted inlay, resin panels, pins and gloss

Shorter Board

He also wanted something smaller to get him off the longboards and maybe use for travelling
came up with a desert island type board 7'9"
cream tinted bottom, intricate swirl inlay, pins and gloss

hey paul,

went really well - had a little trouble getting into the larger stuff, more me than the board though! Rode it in 1ft peelers to good head high stuff and worked really really well. Still pretty loose with quad in, but think I prefer it tri...need more time on it.

love it! managed to ding it though :-( indent on the top left near the rail..but thats life!

in the run up to the fish fry i only had chance to do the works on a pig.
this included 2 Tulip wood stringers and a hd foam stringer, double tints, pinlines and gloss.
the template was given to me by Bill Thrailkill and is from a 1958 Velzy pig
